Battle-Maiden

If someone falls, catch them. Quit pushing them further and further into the damn hole.

Family is supposed to be a safety net, and if you think you are trying to help 'em be safe your so mistaken... all you did was cut a damn big hole in your net... now they are all falling through.

Children can make a parents head spin, like in Exorcist. See now we stare at them waiting for their heads to spin but in reality... they are slowly taking over and driving us crazy. It is really our heads that will be spinning trying to catch up with what they are trying to say.

However, lies catch up with you. Do not be surprised when you get caught.

My heart hurts that the lies where there in the first place though. I championed her, standing up for her and believing everything that was said.

Who is the fool? Who's head is spinning now.

August is usually the month of total glee that the kids start back to school.

Through the years turned too total money scraping chaos to buy school supplies and pay extra bills like house insurance.... it is like bill hell month.

This year is different though, I have to get used to one of my babies taking off to college... *hides*

This is not going to be easy, how does a mother cut the strings and let them fly... and try to curb this protect them natural instinct?

Dads? Well they are dumb and give the said child a sword to fight away bad dreams. That is fine and dandy for one night but what happens after that when they think they get a sword every night? Not really a good habit to get into. What happens when the dreams happen less than 5 minutes after they are in bed?

SOLUTION IMPENDING

1. Remind them Santa and God are watching and would know if said child was lying.

2. Tell story of how the Dr said if a child kept getting out of bed, once you know they are safe you just have to lock the door to keep their little butts in there... it sucks... and I cried when I shut the door but the problem was fixed in 3 nights and I never had to do it again.

3. Tell them that there will be no more overnights until they can sleep again. Because they cannot do this at someone else's house.

Well... said child DID stay in bed after that... so we shall see what tonight brings.

I have decided only the Mommy's should get the sword, cuz they need it to keep Daddy's in line.

Having kids too close together means getting rid of said kids way too fast... it feels like it is all at once lemme tell ya!

In other news, all it takes is one look at the face and I know. Actions betray words my little smitten kitten.

I have been having my "Getting lost in the Music" disease lately. I guess it is a good thing cuz when I do not have it I am moodier. Perhaps it is my mood stabilizer and I was without it for too long. Oh and I pods suck cuz the little ear things hurt dude!
